Family Law – From infants to elders, I focus on ensuring that your domestic relations matters are handled seamlessly and expediently. I believe in doing what is best for your children. This guides my work in divorces, child placement and support, parenting time, and enforcing post-decree orders. Family law cases are billed on an hourly fee basis.
Guardianships/Conservatorships – Whether you need to assist an elder relative with the transition to assisted living, or you have a special needs child who is about to reach the age of majority, I will guide you through the process. Guardianship/Conservatorship cases are usually billed on a flat fee basis.
Protection from Abuse/Stalking (PFA/PFS) Orders – If a partner from a past relationship continues to harass you, or threaten abuse, it may become necessary for you to ask the court for an order of protection. These cases are emotionally charged and generally conflict-laden. I will ensure that you have the safety and peace of mind you deserve. PFA/PFS cases are billed on an hourly fee basis.
Child in Need of Care (CINC) Cases – Whether filed by the State of Kansas or filed by a private party, CINC cases require an attorney who is experienced in this area. I will navigate you through the case and zealously protect your rights as a parent or interested party. CINC cases are billed on an hourly fee basis.
Juvenile Offender Cases – Once accused of a crime, it is important that your child's rights are protected. There are many alternative resolutions that should be considered prior to entering into a diversion contract or plea. Call or email me to discuss how we can minimize the long-term effects of a criminal charge. Juvenile offender cases are billed on an hourly fee basis.
Traffic Infractions – We all get traffic tickets and we're often too busy to deal with them! Let me help you keep from missing work and living your life. Traffic infraction cases are billed on a flat fee basis.
